33) The Puppet

At first the wooden puppet feels no bliss -
with legs and hands bound to ugly strings
No movement on his own he can make -
Even his bow to the crowd is fake!

He then rebels against his master in vain
These foolish moves cause such pain
The wires only the master wields -
Awkwardly the puppet  just yields.

When the shows over, he silently weeps
Inside his box he only quietly sleeps
Immobile he is left within his crate-
Finally he  resigns to his helpless fate.

The he learns to  move and dance -
As per the master's will is his every stance
he then learns to accept and bow -
In his life learns he to go with the flow

With efforts an expert he becomes
the time of the puppet finally comes
anticipating the masters every move
the puppet at last gets into the groove.

With his act to the world he brings great laughter
O! the crowd, by the puppet they define his master !!
